In its July 11 issue, the Bowie News ran two front-page stories relating to issues of oil and gas drilling and waste disposal in the Trinity Aquifer.
One is an article on FEMCO's application to install a stationary waste treatment facility outside Saint Jo - the proposal that the STA Coalition was formed to prevent.
The other tells the story of a family who can light a fire at their water tap as a result of gas in their water lines, possibly due to natural gas drilling in the area.
Both articles are available here (posted with permission).
